Black Sesame Crème 黑芝麻糊Recipe from Kitchen Notes on Fenying's radio program, Tuesday, March 13, 2007Ingredients:A: (washed and drained)150g black sesame seeds 150g white sesame seeds B:1000g water C: (mixed well)30g rice flour 粘米粉 120g water D:180 - 200g sugar E:100g thick coconut milk (or cow's milk) Method:1. Stir-fry sesame seeds over medium heat until fragrant (10 mins). 2. Blend sesame seeds with 1000g water until smooth. 3. Pass the sesame crème through a sieve to remove any impurities. 4. Pour sieved sesame crème into a pot, use median heat and bring to a boil. 5. Gradually mix in Ingredients C and continue to cook until thick (stirring constantly). 6. Add sugar and stir to dissolve. Remove from heat. Lastly add in coconut milk and mix well.
