Not surprise the home cook won, since the chef's recipe is a modern fusion of Japanese and Greek, but I would love to try the use of perilla leaves instead of vine leaves...

Don't get me wrong, I still love, love, love watching The Chefs' Line, but I won't be updating here anymore due to shortage of time, and also I don't think many people read this thread, so not going to waste my time... I will still be posting recipe links in my blog, there are now many recipes from TCL I wanted to try, LOL...

From tonight's Lebanese baklawa episode... I have never seen pastry done this way before, wow so spectacular, must learn, LOL... Unfortunately this dish got eliminated, too biscuity in texture, what a shame!
