Steamed Tapioca Kueh 蒸木薯粿 Recipe from Kitchen Notes on Fenying's radio program, Tuesday, April 3, 2007
Ingredients: A: (mixed and steam for 5 mins) 1 grated white coconut ½ tsp salt
B: 500g grated tapioca (cassava) 100g coconut milk 150g sugar ½ tsp salt
Method: 1) Grease baking tin (20cm, square or round) and line with banana leaf. 2) Mix Ingredients B in a mixing bowl till well combined. Pour into baking tin. 3) Place in steamer and steam with high heat for 30 mins till cooked. 4) Leave to cool. Cut and coat with grated white coconut.
