Sago & Honey Dew Dessert 蜜瓜西米露 Recipe from Kitchen Notes on Fenying's radio program, Tuesday, April 24, 2007
For 6-8 people
Ingredients: A: 1 honey dew melon 哈蜜瓜
B: 75g sago 西谷米
C: 1½ litres coconut milk 100g gula melaka (dark palm sugar) 50g white sugar 5 pandan leaves
Method: 1. Rinse sago and soak for 20 mins, drained. 2. Remove honey dew melon skin and dice for use later. 3. Boil Ingredient C together in a pot. 4. Add drained sago to boil till transparent, stirring constantly. 5. Add diced honey dew to mix and turn off the heat.
